This Year's ContestWe would like to thank the students, parents, teachers and any other volunteers who helped make our 2009-10 Reflections in Art Contest a very successful event. We had a total of 78 entries turned in at the local school level. 28 of those were forwarded to the Bayside Council for judging that selected 9 winners to move on to the next level. Each student that turned in a project to Bayside Council will receive an Award of Merit. The nine winners will receive an Award of Excellence and a $10 gift card from Target as their prize from Bayside for participating. Thanks again to everyone who helped make this year's Reflections Program a big success! We are still in the process of getting the awards together and will be contacting each Reflections Chair when the certificates are ready. Since the "we" in the last sentence refers to Christina Slamon, this is a good time to thank her for putting in all the work to make this program possible in our school districts.
